Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This describes what interviewelo ("we", "us") collects when you upload an interview email, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- The raw email file (.eml) you upload, and its DKIM signature.
- Whatever the verified signature covers — the sending company's domain, the address it was sent to, subject, and send date.
- The email's plain-text body, which we read to determine what happened (invitation, rejection, offer, etc.) and which round it refers to.
- Your email address, once an account is created.
How we use it
We use the email body and headers to classify your interview progress, using a third-party AI service — the plain-text content of your email is sent to that service for this purpose. We don't use your data to train any model, and neither does our AI provider, under our agreement with them.
Outbound email (confirmation links, notifications) is sent through Mailpace, our email delivery provider.
What we show publicly
Your profile page is reachable only through a private, unguessable link. It shows only facts a verified signature actually proved — never a guess. Your email address is partially masked on that page — we hide all but the first character of the part before the @, but the domain (e.g. gmail.com) stays visible.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't publish anything a signature didn't prove.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Contact us to request deletion of your account and the emails you've uploaded.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will update the date above.
